| I first met Curt when I was looking for an LA-based gaffer for a documentary I was DP-ing about women with metastatic breast cancer. I had hoped to hire a woman on account of the sensitive subject matter, but after interviewing several candidates it quickly became clear that Curt was the best person for the job. Since then, I've also had the opportunity to work with Curt on a couple of corporate shoots. Curt has invariably been professional in all regards, and he has tailored his equipment list and demeanor to the very different needs of the various projects. He's now the first person I call whenever I shoot in LA.
